We missed our flight!!!!!!
Hello everyone I´m going to talk about
a bad situation I lived.
About four years ago my friends and I
took a trip to Cancun as we had finished high school and that was our
graduation trip.
The trip lasted one week, we went to Cancun
on Friday, June 22, 2012 and supposedly we returned on Friday, June 29, 2012,
but the day we returned we had a mishap.
That day our flight left at 11:00 am we
arrived on time to the airport. When we started documenting bags the lady that
it´s on the counter told us that we had to be aware, because they were changing
the gates to enter to the plane.
The truth we were very hungry and we
were already in the waiting room just waiting to see the door that we have to approach,
so we decided to go for something to eat because we had not eaten anything in
all morning, so we went to a restaurant and ordered a breakfast, really we were
very happy talking and remembering anecdotes and one of my friends remembered
that we have to approach an airplane, so we ran to see what was the door to
approached the airplane, we saw that it was the door 5 and as we got to the
door was closed and the plane was about to take off.
We try to make the plane back but the
people that were working there said us that they had closed the doors and that
it could not be done. They recommended to talked with the boss to see if we
could fix this situation.
The boss told us that we could leave on
a later flight but we were going to collect taxes and other issues and were
about 4000 pesos per ticket we didn´t have all that money, so we decided to talked
to our parents, in my case my dad told me that we should see more options to
return the day we had planned, because if we didn’t found another flight to
returned we had to rent a room for one
more night but our parent´s said that this idea was not the best because that
would be expensive. We contacted many airlines and they were a little cheaper,
so we asked if we could return at any of their flights. We founded in Volaris
many places on a flight of 10 pm, the ticket was cheaper and we accepted and
bought the tickets but we lost the money of the first flight. The big problem
were our bags because we lost the plane and had taken them, then had to talk to
the offices of Mexico explain the situation and our parents were the ones who
had to pick up our bags.
If
you had been in this situation, what would you have done? Do you think it was
good we departed on that plane or we should have gone in the first airline?
